Starting pay is $18.00+ per hour based on experience, certification, and education.

Hillcrest Health Services is currently seeking Certified Medication Aides for our Senior Care Communities in the Omaha metro area.

Pay: Starting at $18.00+ per hour based upon experience, certification and education.  

All Hillcrest medication aides are required to provide cares (hence the requirement of having an active CNA) – we do not hire team members to solely pass medications.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Provides personal care to the patients on assigned neighborhood.
  • Observes and reports obvious physical and behavioral abnormalities to the nurse manager immediately.
  • Responsible to document all patient care in POC and notify Nurse Manager of refusals of care or abnormalities in vital signs.
  • Answering call light timely to determine the patients’ needs.
  • Pass medications utilizing the Five Rights.

What do I need to be considered?

  • STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful).
  • An active CNA in the state of Nebraska (or willing to transfer your license to Nebraska).
  • An active 40-hour medication aide in Nebraska.
  • Focus on resident care, team player.
