HK has (3) Chevrolet locations in Ohio and Indiana, and has been the automotive business since 1960. Our stores have very limited employee turnover, and this is a rare opportunity to join on sales team. We do not flood the floor and ensure we have enough lead traffic to support the teams we have. This opportunity is present because of an internal promotion of a sales consultant.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, excellent communication skills, and a drive to exceed sales targets. As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the perfect vehicle to suit their needs while providing exceptional service throughout the sales process. We will not tolerate drama on our teams, and do not want individuals that are not team focused.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet customers and understand their automotive needs and preferences.
- Provide product information and demonstrate vehicle features to customers.
- Conduct test drives and accompany customers on vehicle tours.
- Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle and finalize the sale.
- Negotiate pricing and financing options to meet customer budgets.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and cultivate long-term relationships.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and dealership promotions.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in automotive sales or customer service preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Knowledge of automotive financing options is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
