Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Test and inspect vehicle systems and components to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards
Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform required repairs
Conduct regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs
Repair or replace worn parts and systems to prevent breakdowns
Operate power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other specialized service tools
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
Ford Certification preferred
Previous experience as an automotive service technician (1+ year in a dealership or service department)
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with attention to detail
Ability to identify vehicle issues quickly and accurately
Solid understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Proficiency with computers and diagnostic software
Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
