Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, Arkansas, has multiple openings for Referral Coordinators within our Patient Access Department.

The Referral Coordinator is responsible for coordinating patient referrals to specialty providers, diagnostic services, and other healthcare resources as ordered by providers. This position works closely with patients, providers, and outside healthcare facilities to ensure referrals are processed accurately, appointments are scheduled in a timely manner, and required authorizations or documentation are obtained. The Referral Coordinator helps maintain continuity of care by tracking referrals, communicating appointment details to patients, and ensuring all necessary information is shared between providers and receiving facilities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year's medical office experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred.
  • Completion of medical terminology course or equivalent experience preferred.
