Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and one year of hospital experience.

- Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical provider.
- Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
- May provide clerical support for the assigned department, including, but not limited to, filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into the computer.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or a Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- ARRT or registry eligible; Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.
- *Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements*
- Candidates with a temporary license must obtain a permanent license within one year of hire.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree.
- One (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting.
