We are looking for an Echo Lab Technician to perform ultrasound imaging of the heart and assist physicians with diagnosis. Job requirements include completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and/or ARDMS or CCI, one year of experience in a healthcare setting, and licensure/certification eligibility. BLS certification and New Mexico licensure are also required.

- Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing ultrasound imaging of patient’s heart for assisting physicians with the diagnosis of patient.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and/or ARDMS or CCI.
- One (1) year of experience in the healthcare/hospital environment.
- ARRT, ARDMS or equivalent registered or eligible.
- Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire.
- Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree.
