We are looking for a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker to assist consumers with daily living skills, medication education, and supportive counseling. A High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree with at least 1 year of experience in a human services‑related field is required. The candidate must also possess required clearances such as PA Criminal Clearance, a valid driver's license, and not be listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists.

Job Description: In this role, the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker will help each consumer reach a maximum level of self-sufficiency through individualized interventions as well as the support of an overall therapeutic milieu. Interventions are based on service plans developed collaboratively with individual consumers.

Schedule:  Full-Time (Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm)

Location:  Wyomissing, PA

Program:  Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program

Pay Rate:  $18.00+/hour (depending on experience)

What You'll Do

  • Provide recovery‑oriented psychiatric rehabilitation services based on individualized service plans
  • Support consumers with daily living skills, medication education, budgeting, self‑care, and supportive counseling
  • Maintain a small caseload (4–5 consumers) while promoting independence and personal growth
  • Accompany consumers to medical appointments and complete daily van runs
  • Administer medications in accordance with DPW standards
  • Respond appropriately to crisis situations and support healthy relationships
  • Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with 2600 regulations
  • Collaborate with program staff while working independently as needed
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meals, and other hands‑on support as required

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree with at least 1 year of experience in a human services‑related field
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Required Clearances & Qualifications

  • PA Criminal Clearance
  • PA Child Abuse Clearance (if applicable)
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists
