Job Description
The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C., and Chicago. The AHA offers a flexible hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days working remotely.
We are currently seeking Medical Coding Intern for our Chicago office. This is an onsite, part-time position for the summer, May-Aug 2026, scheduled to work 10 – 20 hours per week.This 12 week internship is designed for individuals interested in building foundational skills in medical coding (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS Level II) and developing the ability to communicate coding guidance clearly and professionally. Interns gain hands‑on experience researching coding regulations, drafting coding advice, and supporting documentation improvement initiatives.Essential Functions

Salary Information:
