Seeking lifeguards and swim instructors to ensure participant safety and deliver quality programming at the Dahl branch. Must be at least 15 years old and enjoy working with children and adults. Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and YMCA Water Instructor certifications are required/preferred.
Job Description
Details:
- Flexible hours – PART-TIME and FULL-TIME positions available for the summer!
- Work rain or shine in a controlled environment
- We will train qualified applicants
- Pool is open from 5am - 8:30pm Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the health and safety of all participants
- Enforce rules and expectations
- Constant vigilance of pool activities
- Conduct YMCA Learn-to-Swim lessons
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Lifeguard Certification (for lifeguards only)
- CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification (lifeguards only)
- YMCA Water Instructor Certification preferred (Instructors only)
- Must enjoy working around children and adults of all ages
