Job Description

 

Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation in Aberdeen is now hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team!

$35.00 - $40.00 /hr

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, and will be able to work collaboratively with the Physical Therapist and the rest of our team of healthcare professionals.

Minimum pay - $35.00. Maximum pay - $40.00 

Part-time are eligible for all of the above except Medical. On Call are not eligible for any of the above except 401k

**Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.**

Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in developing treatment plans for patients
  • Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Teach patients exercises and techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
  • Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
  • Current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
