What You'll Do:

  • Provide Hands-On Patient Care: Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, implementing individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
  • Collaborate with the Care Team: Work closely with Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Empower Patients: Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and home exercises, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Document Patient Progress: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Maintain a Safe and Therapeutic Environment: Ensure the treatment area is clean, organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

    • Demonstrated stability in previous roles (preferred).

Work Environment:

This position requires frequent sitting, bending, stooping, walking, lifting up to 20-40 pounds, and periods of uninterrupted standing. You may be required to travel to other AICA locations to provide coverage or support.
