We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. You'll need to be a CNA in good standing with the State and maintain certification, possess the ability to read, write, and follow directions in English, and have recent education or clinical hours.

Mervyn Sharp Bennion Veterans Home is now hiring Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join our team!

Pay: $19.00-22.05

  Shifts available: Full-time 3:30pm-11pm

**Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.**



Responsibilities
  • Prioritizing comfort while assisting Residents in achieving their highest level of function
  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Monitoring vital signs to include temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
  • Maintaining a safe environment and assisting with fall-risk precautions
  • Interdepartmental communications within care team

Qualifications

  • Must be a Certified Nursing assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon
  • Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education
  • Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
  • Recent education or clinical hours are required.
  • You need to be at least 18 years old. 
  • Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry
