Job Description

Cheil Dallas/Strategy
Strategy Intern

About us
We are Built to Connect.

At Cheil Worldwide, we create connected experiences that move people with work that’s bold enough to stand out, clear enough to be understood, and enduring enough to be remembered. Born from technology and built from one of the world’s largest tech ecosystems, we move with innovation, not after it.

Today, brands exist in a constant stream of interactions, where every moment is an opportunity to connect…or be ignored. That’s why we design connected experiences across online, offline and emerging touchpoints, blending data, insights, creativity, and technology to build what’s next, not just respond to what’s now.

Our approach integrates experiential with data-driven, creatively led marketing, grounded in cultural relevance and built to grow brands.

Cheil USA serves as the lead agency for Samsung.  And while Samsung remains a key partner, our work extends across a growing portfolio of globally recognized brands. Powered by a team of 200+ creative problem-solvers, we thrive on pushing boundaries and redefining how brands engage with people.

We are looking for people who chase the Never Been Done Before. Curious thinkers. Driven doers. People who want to create Connected experiences that matter.

About the role
Like you, this job is multidimensional. And every aspect is crucial to creating culturally relevant work.
  • Trend-hunt and discover what is new and what is next in the tech, social and cultural realms
  • Translate (sub)cultural shifts into unique and useful insights
  • Build channel and content plans based on platform nuances and campaign goals
  • Help craft target profiles and consumer journeys that find connection opportunities
  • Learn how and contribute to writing creative briefs
  • Participate in the creative process with honest and insightful feedback
  • Help us design, track and report on campaign and brand metrics
  • Analyze and identify performance patterns and drivers to define future opportunities

About you
Who you are is just as important as (if not more important than!) what you can do.
  • You’re driven, curious, and not easily satisfied with surface-level answers.
  • You have a special interest in the human psyche and behaviors – especially what people are saying and doing IRL and online.
  • You think beyond individual ads, building messaging frameworks that work across channels and audiences.
  • You’re a sharp thinker who isn’t afraid to ask questions or rethink what’s ‘been done’.
  • You’re passionate about trends, obsessed with innovation, and intensely curious about what drives cultural shifts.
  • You’re a collaborator, eager to engage with the strategy team and other disciplines like account and creative.

About the requirements
You’ve got to check the boxes before you can think outside of them.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, communications, business or a related field preferred
  • Some advertising campaign strategy experience in the classroom or internship a big plus
  • Comfortable presenting and articulating ideas to both peers and clients
  • Exposure to secondary tools (such as Simmons/MRI, GWI, Brandwatch, Mintel, etc.)
  • Strong writing chops- whether you are an English major or not, you understand the importance of writing a strong narrative or point of view
  • Able to work onsite in a hybrid environment at the Plano, Texas office. Monday – Thursday. 32 hours a week.
