Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electric Control Panel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in building, wiring, and installing electric control panels, as well as wiring trailers and troubleshooting the units. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems along with excellent problem-solving skills. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Panel Construction: Build and wire electric control panels ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
  • Installation: Install control panels to our product, including wiring, mounting, and testing to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations. Installs are done in house at our facility.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control panels to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of panel construction, installation, parts inventory, and testing results.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all aspects of panel construction, installation, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with company lead, engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices related to electric control panels and parts procurement.

Requirements:
 - High school diploma or equivalent
 - Previous experience in control panel assembly or related field
 - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints accurately
 - Basic knowledge of electrical wiring principles and techniques
 - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
 - Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment
 - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
