Job Overview

The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for performing a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensures buildings and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition

  • Coordinates and monitors maintenance schedules to assure tasks are performed in a timely manner

  • Performs lead functions as assigned by appropriate administrator

  • Writes reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthly

  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections

  • Arrange for disposal of hazardous waste and chemicals

  • Tracks supplies inventory, equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair

  • Reports employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor

  • Performs duties of employees within the program assigned

  • Trains employees in various maintenance tasks

  • Sets up for various site events

  • Carries out lead responsibilities in accordance with SBM policies and applicable laws

  • Provides directions and assigns tasks to various staff

  • Assist with training to employees

  • Monitors employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, supplies, and equipment

  • Reports personnel issues, concerns, and recognition to supervisor

  • Corrects at risk behavior immediately, then reports to the supervisor immediately

  • Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement

Education and/ or Experience:

High School Diploma / GED with 6 months – 1 year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

 May be required to have a valid driver’s license.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation and Shift
$19.00-$19.50 per hour

Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
