Job Description

Position Overview:
Microsoft suite proficient. Comfortable with use of web-based business technologies. Detail oriented/comfortable with focused tasks. Organized and Punctual. College coursework commensurate with key responsibilities. Interest in Pharmaceutical Industry as a career.

Key Responsibilities:
• This individual will support the Market Access and Patient Access Team within the Market Access and Trade (MA&T) Group in the Commercial Specialty Medicine Business Unit of Amneal Pharma.
• MA&T is critical in creating access to our products for patients by working closely with health insurance companies, HCP offices and customers and our HUB and Reimbursement teams as well as the payer community.
• The PFC team, specifically supports how products are accessed by patients, made affordable by Amneal and placed at payers and PBMs such as CVS, Express Scripts, Optum, and Cigna to ensure broad access to our medications.
• This individual will support different members of the PFC team.
 

Specific task will include, but not be limited to, will be: 
• Review and understand how payer contracting works to establish coverage for medications.
• Review and understand what role patient support plays in helping with access and affordability.
• Learn and understand various affordability and HUB or access pathways used to help patients, caregivers and HCP customers.

• Business, Finance, Economics, Pre - Law, Accounting, Nursing, Health Sciences, Marketing.

What You'll Gain:
• The intern will gain comprehensive exposure to the pharmaceutical Market Access and Patient Access landscape through hands - on involvement with the Market Access & Trade (MA&T) team.
• They will participate in cross - functional meetings with teams including Market Access, Patient Support Programs (HUB), Reimbursement, Trade, Marketing, and Sales Training to understand how these functions collaborate to ensure patient access to medications.
• The intern will develop business and analytical skills by working with real - world data related to payer coverage, reimbursement, and patient access, gaining insight into how data informs commercial strategy.
• They will also be exposed to payer contracting concepts, affordability programs, and HUB services, building a foundational understanding of how pharmaceutical products reach patients.
• Additionally, the intern will gain visibility into interactions with external stakeholders such as payers, vendors, and patient support partners, as well as observe how market access strategies are communicated across the organization.
• This experience will provide a well - rounded understanding of the commercial pharmaceutical ecosystem and prepare the intern for a career in the industry.
