The Position

Organon is recruiting for a student to join the Global Procurement (GP) department by June 1, 2026, for approximately 10 to 12 weeks. The role will be based in Jersey City, NJ or Plymouth Meeting, PA.


The North America Procurement team within GP is responsible for managing the procurement of commercial-related services, ensuring cost-effective and efficient solutions that support the company's business objectives.

At the end of your assignment, you will have learned the following:

  • Understanding of procurement processes and strategies across commercial and supply chain.

  • Hands-on experience with supplier management, sourcing, and contract negotiations.

  • Skills in data analysis and reporting related to procurement activities.

  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in commercial/marketing procurement.

  • Enhanced communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the procurement of commercial/supply chain services inclusive of both US and CA market

  • Support supplier selection, evaluation processes, and supplier relationship management.

  • Participate in contract negotiations and management.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to support procurement decisions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business needs.

Required Education and Skills

  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with procurement or supply chain processes and principles.

  • Excited about learning and applying new technologies and procurement strategies.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
