Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly trustworthy Human Resources Intern to support our HR team with administrative and operational tasks. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in HR operations while working with sensitive and confidential employee information.

The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and a strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with organizing, downloading, and maintaining employee personnel files (digital and/or physical)
  • Ensure all employee records are accurate, complete, and securely stored in compliance with company policies
  • Support HR audits by compiling and verifying documentation
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employee files and documentation
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data and company information
  • Help update HR systems, trackers, and databases with employee information
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and filing documents
  • Assist with compliance-related tasks (e.g., I-9 documentation, policy acknowledgments)
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • HS 3-4 Years
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation. This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate. Intern hourly rates are determined based upon the technical/non-technical nature of the position and years of experience/education. Min (Hourly): $22 Max (Hourly): $28
