We are seeking a Power Electronics Intern to support the development of next-generation Pack Managers for Energy Storage Systems. The ideal candidate will be an MS or PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics, possessing a deep understanding of DC-DC converter topologies, magnetics design, and circuit analysis. This internship offers hands-on experience with high-voltage systems and high-power levels.

Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.
Power Electronics Intern
The Power Electronics Engineering Intern will support the development of next-generation Pack Managers for Energy Storage Systems (ESS) utilizing recycled batteries specifically for AI Data Centers. You will be responsible for the detailed power electronics design, prototyping, and preparing for high-volume production of efficient, cost-effective, and technologically leading-edge power converters. Working with high-voltage systems and high-power levels, this role requires a deep understanding of soft-switching DC-DC converter topologies to ensure maximum performance of the product. This is a Summer 2026 position.

In accordance with California pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and skills.
California Pay Range:$41—$54.50 USDThe position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
