Summary of Job Duties:

The BioVentures Grant Writing Internship offers an exciting opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in grant writing. As an intern, you will work closely with the UAMS Executive Director of Grants and BioVentures, LCC, contributing to the entire grant proposal process, from conceptualization to submission. This internship takes place in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment within programs renowned for securing millions of dollars in grants annually. While this is an unpaid position, it provides valuable real-world writing experience that will enhance your professional development.


Qualifications:

  • Available eight hours on average weekly for internship tasks.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze relevant data from various sources.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools in the Microsoft Office suite and other collaboration software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
