Operations/Finance Intern – Summer 2026

📍 Orlando, FL | May 4 – August 3 | $20/hour

Foundry Commercial is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Operations/Finance Intern to support key initiatives across Asset Management, Operations, Finance, and Accounting. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Program Details

  • Pay: $20 per hour
  • Schedule: Minimum of 35 hours per week
  • Location: Orlando, FL (parking provided)
  • Dates: May 4 – August 3
  • Flexibility: Vacation time permitted during the program

What You’ll Work On

Financial / Asset Management

  • Analyze rent roll data and support performance tracking
  • Assist with mid-year forecasts and budget template preparation
  • Conduct labor analytics and identify trends
  • Support our AI initiative: Project Hellcat (Foundry AI)
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial and operational reports

Operations

  • Develop an Asset Management site visit playbook
  • Create and enhance insurance coverage and claims trackers
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding assets
  • Support planning for the Connect Conference
  • Update and analyze community market comps
  • Build a reporting requirements tracker for management assignments
  • Partner with Marketing to publish the first-ever “Allegro Anthology”—a collection of resident stories featured in the Foundry United magazine

Legal / Accounting

  • Assist with K-1 administration
  • Support accounting with investment tracking and corporate forecasting
  • Contribute to NC CHOW processes for multiple assets

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Proficiency in Excel; interest in financial analysis preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Interest in real estate, senior living, finance, or operations is a plus
