Roswell Park is seeking a full-time Clinical Center Associate Trainee or Clinical Center Associate I to support operations across various departments within the organization. Day shift opportunities are available primarily within inpatient and clinic settings.

Clinical Center Associate Trainee:
The Clinical Center Associate Trainee role is an entry‑level, training-focused position designed to provide hands‑on experience in clinical operations. Under direct supervision, trainees perform foundational clerical and support duties while gaining the skills and knowledge needed to progress to the Clinical Center Associate I level.

Starting hourly rate: $19.55 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Clinical Center Associate I:The Clinical Center Associate I provides essential clerical and administrative support within assigned inpatient or outpatient centers. This role serves as a key point of contact for patients, visitors, providers, and clinical staff, supporting efficient and compassionate patient care.

Starting hourly rate: $21.81 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide clerical and administrative support in assigned clinical center(s)
- Answer routine inquiries, screen phone calls, and assist patients and visitors
- Record and transcribe physician orders accurately and confidentially
- Maintain and coordinate clinic schedules- Manage co‑pay collection and related documentation
- Participate in team‑based activities to support daily clinic operations
- Perform duties in a confidential healthcare environment under supervision, with limited discretion for independent judgment

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience for Clinical Center Associate Trainee:

High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and one (1) year of full-time experience in customer service.

Required Education and Experience for Clinical Center Associate I:

1. Medical Office Assistant Associate’s degree; or
2. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
4. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
5. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in customer service and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).
