We are searching for a driven, people-oriented Automotive Sales Consultant who knows how to create great customer experiences and close deals. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, a little friendly competition amongst peers, and has a desire to grow with a successful dealership brand.

As an Automotive Sales Consultant with CAPITALyou’ll play a key role in helping customers find the right vehicle while representing our main tenets of professionalism, enthusiasm, and expertise.

 Automotive Sales Consultant Responsibilities:   

  • Greet and engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Understand customers' automotive needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery.
  • Negotiate and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated on the specifications, features, and benefits of the vehicles in the dealership
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by the dealership.
  • Participate in sales training programs to enhance selling skills
  • Other duties assigned  

Automotive Sales Consultant Requirements:   

  • Experience as a Salesman or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
  • Basic computer skills for managing customer information and sales transactions.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must pass pre-employment background screenings
