The finance intern role will work on special projects with other finance and accounting staff. There are specific needs around specific financial analyses, market research, and competitive research.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial analysis projects in support of organizational goals

  • Develop Excel financial models as needed to meet project objectives

  • Perform market research activities as directed by other staff

  • Develop written summaries of analysis conclusions

  • Develop presentations or other reports summarizing work product and conclusions

  • Other duties as assigned

Note: Responsibilities include the expectation to always act to support the interests of the department and organization and to perform other duties as assigned to ensure the successful achievement of departmental and company objectives.

Qualifications and Experience         

  • College Student pursuing degree in finance or related field.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment
  • Good people skills and ability to collaborate well with others
  • Strong attention to detail and aptitude for quantitative analysis
  • Energetic, positive attitude, self-starter with good follow-through, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with team members
  • Punctual and regular attendance

Physical Demands
Ability to operate in a professional environment and routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, and printers

Compensation

The hourly rate for internship opportunities is: $17.50 to $23.50.

The hourly rate depends on factors such as knowledge, skill level, experience, and education level. This role is classified as non-exempt for purposes of all applicable wage and hour laws, which means that the individual hired will receive overtime pay for more than 40 hours worked in a workweek.
