We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and snow removal for our facilities. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, experience as a Maintenance Technician, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and push 100 lbs, as well as operating a motor vehicle in all weather conditions.

The mission of the Allentown Parking Authority is to operate, monitor, and maintain convenient and accessible parking facilities and on-street parking opportunities within the City of Allentown. The Allentown Parking Authority works to balance the parking needs of residents, employees, business and property owners, and visitors while enforcing parking ordinances and providing appropriate access to parking.
The Maintenance Technician is an Essential Employee who performs a variety of duties to provide year-round maintenance for our indoor and outdoor spaces. At the Allentown Parking Authority, we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards for the appearance and functionality of our decks and garages. This position has a responsibility to the community to treat everyone with respect and fairness with customer service being the number one priority. The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Manager/Supervisor of Maintenance.

HOURS OF WORK: 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday-Friday with rotating weekends
Please note that scheduled hours and days of work are subject to change based upon the operational needs of the organization.
STARTING PAY RATE: $20.00 PER HOUR
($0.50 increase and generous benefits package available at 90 calendar days)
