Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research arm of The Walt Disney Company’s (TWDC) Parks and Resorts business segment. Representing more than 150 disciplines, the talented corps of Imagineers are responsible for the creation of Disney resorts, theme parks and attractions, hotels, water parks, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, cruise ships and new media technology projects.
What You Will Do:
As a BIM Intern, you will learn the process and tools of Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design and Construction of Walt Disney Imagineering and participate in its implementation. This role provides hands‑on exposure to how BIM and VDC are applied at scale on world‑class themed entertainment projects. In this role, you will work closely with designers, engineers, construction teams, and technology specialists and support the vision, development, and application of digital technologies that enable design, collaboration, and construction across our global parks and resorts.

Education
Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher, in an accredited college/university, earning a degree majoring in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science or other related field
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Orlando, FL area
Must have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $31 per hour for undergraduate level and $36 per hour for graduate level.
