Whether you're just starting out or bringing years of experience, we have a place for you at WCI. We're currently hiring Weekend Set Up & Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team, offering two fixed shifts to choose from:
  • Day Shift: Friday-Saturday-Sunday | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Night Shift: Friday-Saturday-Sunday | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
    (Night shift includes an extra $3/hour shift differential)
All new team members start with day shift training: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM You will work 36 hours per week but get paid for 40 hours!   At Wisconsin Converting, Inc., we take pride in manufacturing high-quality paper bags while fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and growth. We are looking for a Weekend Set Up & Maintenance Technicians to play a key role in the efficient set up paper bag-making equipment, performing multiple set-ups or changeovers per shift, and troubleshooting any equipment issues or breakdowns. This role is also vital in the daily cleaning and maintenance of converting equipment to ensure optimal efficiency.   This is a full-time position with paid training to ensure you’re set up for success. Responsibilities
  • Set up and change over paper converting equipment efficiently to meet production demands
  • General cleaning and care for converting machines and equipment
  • Identifying, monitoring, and performing minor troubleshooting for problems and breakdowns of equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment history
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of all production equipment
Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude – if you love working with your hands, this is the job for you
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Basic computer skills for logging maintenance records
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, and occasionally climb ladders
  • Bending and stooping for short periods of time
