Job Summary

Pilsen Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to provide meaningful and engaging standards based instruction and assessment in the content area of Science. Curriculum to be taught within the context of the philosophy and mission of the high school.

Responsibilities

  • Engages students within high school level scholarly work
  • Attends and participates in all professional development training
  • Maintain, develop, and update curriculum maps, syllabi, and course descriptions
  • Participates in the coordination and planning of high school sponsored events
  • Communicates regularly with a student’s parents and families

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Valid Illinois Professional License in subject area
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Teaching Experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $53,000 - $63,000 annually
