Qualifications
We are looking for an ED Technician to deliver high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department. You should have at least one year of recent experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, Clinical Medical Assistant/Certified Nurse Assistant or at least one year of current patient care experience. Must be certified in Basic Life Support and CPI—Advanced Physical Skills, along with strong communication and basic computer skills.

Job Summary
Works with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality compassionate care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department. Performs activities which assist the patient in meeting basic human needs and activities of daily living, providing basic patient care to patients under the direction of the RN, LPN, Paramedic, mid-level provider, or physician. Assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment. Reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Must have certification in Basic Life Support upon hire or receive certification within new employee introductory orientation period and maintain clinical competency during employment.
• CPI—Advanced Physical Skills (receive certification within the new employee introductory orientation period and maintain clinical competency during employment..
• At least one (1) recent years’ experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, Clinical Medical Assistant/Certified Nurse Assistant or at least one (1) current year patient care experience.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English and have basic personal computer skills.
