Location: Middletown, NY

Other potential location available in Mount Vernon, NY

Pay: Unpaid

Hours: Flexible within the following time frame, Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

This position requires that applicants be enrolled in a degree program that will grant them credit hours for their internship. Applicants must be in a Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Finance, Computer Science, Human Resources or a related field.

Potential programs for an internship placement include Development, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Finance, and Information Technology.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Participate in departmental and team meetings.
  • Help maintain accurate records and supporting documentation
  • Participate in creating and delivering data-driven solutions for staff and project teams.
  • Conduct surveys and assist with data collection.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT:

  • Provide administrative and research support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives.
  • Help identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions.
  • Additional assignments may be determined at a future date.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Finance, Computer Science, Human Resources or a related field.
