What you’ll do at DBH:

·     Provide medication, education, and empowerment to individuals.

·     Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, and response to medication.

·     Monitor patient health including vital signs, treatment plan progress, and activity participation.

·     Serve in a fundamental role as a multi-disciplinary team member that creates a safe and positive environment through safety and observation rounds and group facilitation.

This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 10 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. This position is located at COBH, 2200 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43223.

Minimum Qualifications:

License to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 Ohio Revised Code & proof of completion of an approved course in medication administration.

Note: Licensed Practical Nurses who administer dialysis treatment must possess Certification in IV Therapy pursuant to Section 4723.17 Ohio Revised Code.
