Job Summary:
iCare Elder Services LLC is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Direct Care Worker (Days and Evening) to join our team and provide individualized care and support to elderly individuals in Scranton/Clarks Green, Pennsylvania. This is a Full-time hourly job, with compensation of $16 to $19 per hour. As an individual contributor, the Direct Care Worker will play a crucial role in promoting the well-being and independence of our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assistance and support to clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary and nutritional needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being to a supervisor
- Follow care plans and update them as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a home care setting is preferred
- Must have a current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Compassionate and patient attitude towards elderly individuals
- Basic knowledge of personal care and hygiene practices
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
