JOB DESCRIPTION:

POSITION SUMMARY
Provides guidance and support on organizational legal issues, primarily pertaining to contracts/transactions.  May be responsible for resolving disputes relating to contracts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Writes, reviews, and advises on legal contracts and agreements.
· Represents the organization in legal matters.
· Researches and analyzes laws and regulations for clients.
· Gathers evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions.
· Negotiating and drafting customer and vendor agreements.
· Coordinating with internal and external experts, including external counsel.
· Acting as an advisor to the leadership team.
· Establishing scalable contracting processes and templates.
· Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

· Oral and written communication skills.
· Research skills. 

· Judgement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

JD required.

Experience:

0 to 2 years of experience. 

Certification/Licensure:

Must be licensed in one of our operating states. (TN, IN, IL, MO, KS, GA, FL )

Pay Range:

$74,400.00--$111,600.00
