Lead Twos Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom)
Location: The Learning Experience – East Brunswick, NJ
Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Position Overview

The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking a dependable and engaging Lead Twos Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys supporting potty-training readiness, language development, and social-emotional growth during this important transition stage.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a classroom of 2-year-olds in a safe, nurturing learning environment
  •  Implement age-appropriate activities using the L.E.A.P. curriculum
  •  Support early language development, independence, and peer interaction
  •  Guide daily routines including toileting, meals, transitions, and rest time
  •  Maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment
  •  Communicate regularly with families about milestones and daily progress
  •  Partner with assistant teachers to ensure consistent classroom structure
  •  Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  •  Childcare, daycare, or toddler classroom experience required
  •  CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
  •  Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
  •  Must meet New Jersey licensing and background requirements
