Mental Health Technician 1
Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Technician 1 to join the CATS (Comprehensive Addiction Treatment Services) team. This role is Full-time varied schedule night Shift working 3 x 12-hour shifts, 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. We offer great pay based on experience! Mental Health Technician 1 - Job Responsibilities:
- The Mental Health Technician 1 assists in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Collaborates with care team members in implementing a plan of care to meet individualized and developmental patient care outcomes.
- Partners with Registered Nurse to create a professional development plan to provide team members with the necessary skills to deliver up to date patient care.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association- upon start

- Clinical/medical background
- Experience in Mental Health field
