Job Summary

Crain Hyundai of Fort Smith is seeking a reliable and hardworking Lot Porter to join our team. The Lot Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership lot, ensuring vehicles are clean, properly parked, and ready for customer viewing and test drives.

Key Responsibilities

• Move vehicles around the lot as needed, including parking, staging, and delivering vehicles to customers or service departments.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dealership lot by picking up trash, sweeping, and washing vehicles.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any damage or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with vehicle preparation, including fueling and cleaning interiors and exteriors.
• Support the sales and service teams by promptly delivering vehicles and keys.
• Ensure all vehicles are parked in designated areas and organized for optimal lot appearance.
• Follow all safety protocols and dealership policies while operating vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized lot.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with team members.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, standing, and lifting as required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The Lot Porter will be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
