Qualifications

Candidates should have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in athletic training (prior to 2023), be BOC certified, and possess or be eligible for Indiana State Athletic Training Licensure, along with AHA BLS or Red Cross Professional Rescuer certification.

Location: Tippecanoe Schools
Shift: This is a school based athletic training position, you will be required to work at the schools for practices, games, and will include weekends and evenings.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Works with provider(s) in an outpatient clinic under the supervision of the clinic/practice manager and provider(s). Performs duties associated with direct patient care in accordance with the organization standards. Assists the providers with in-office procedures, treatments, casting, patient education, and assuring efficient patient flow. Patient education will range from explaining next steps in the treatment plan, to educating patients through a home exercise program or bracing. May perform computerized provider order entry per provider. Participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve set outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. May perform duties associated with symptom-management, direct in-clinic patient care, telehealth patient care, quality improvement activities, and other duties as assigned.
