JOB SUMMARY:

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments.

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt

SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm

COMPENSATION:  $19-$21/hour (DOE)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Ensure meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily.
• Assist in the preparation of market-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments.
• Assist and perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist in the cleaning of available units and models.
• Assist in the troubleshooting/repairing of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems.
• Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the maintenance supervisor or property manager.
• Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED

• High school Diploma or GED
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills

PREFERED:

• Bilingual or multilingual skills
• Experience with OneSite or other property management software
