Job Title:         Groundskeeper                         

Reports To:     Grounds Supervisor

Status:            Non-Exempt, hourly

Job Type:       Full-Time, 40hrs./week

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain lawn, gardens, trees and other plants through the use of hand tools and powered equipment.
2. Maintain walkways, roads and parking lots through the use of hand tools and powered equipment.
3. Remove snow and ice and keep walkways, roads and parking lots safe for pedestrians and drivers.
4. Assist other departments as needed.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements 

1. Previous experience using lawn, garden and snow removal equipment preferred
2. Ability to follow oral and written instructions
3. Possess valid driver’s license with clean driving record
4. Ability to work alone with minimal direct supervision
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
