Willis Automotive is seeking an Entry Level Technician to perform general preventative maintenance on customer and fleet vehicles. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with postsecondary training preferred, and possess a working knowledge of hand tools and troubleshooting skills. ASE certification and intermediate customer-service skills are a plus.

Primary Function:

Under the direct supervision of the Service Manager, this position is responsible for general preventative maintenance on customer and fleet vehicles. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards and policies of Willis Automotive.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, performing tune-ups, checking fluid levels and rotating tires; replace or repair worn parts, including brake pads and wheel bearings using common hand tools.
  • Disassemble and reassemble parts
  • Complete all associated records and reports timely and accurately

What we need from you:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary training program preferred
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured
  • Working knowledge of proper use of hand tools
  • Intermediate customer-service skills
  • Ability to demonstrate above-average mechanical and troubleshooting skills
