Position Summary: Under general supervision this position processes panels to development while ensuring quality. The ideal incumbent understands Summit Traveler concerning Tool numbers and Work Order numbers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manually Image screens for soldermask.
  • Check films, Diazo or Silver films to be used.
  • Push soldermask, hand registration of artwork on panels to photo image or automatic soldermask application/processing.
  • Pre-clean procedures per traveler and clean up of all tools used.
  • Use of eye loop and inspection of panels.
  • Operation of soldermask developer, final bake time and temperature.
  • Moving panels to shipping for outside services.
  • Comprehend industry standards, customer specifications, designated reference materials and their appropriate application.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Work under pressure with time constraints.
  • Operate all processes and supporting equipment with little supervision
  • Effectively follow company systems and procedures. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Required Skills:

  • General ability to speak, read and write English fluently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with management/supervisory staff.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) industry will be preferred.
  • Understanding of industry standards and appropriate application

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long period of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis.

Working Hours:

  • 1st shift: 7:30am – 3:30pm
  • 2nd shift: 3:30pm – 11:30pm

Compensation/Benefits:

Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following 30 days of hire.

Pay Range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00 hour based on experience.
