Qualifications
We are looking for a compassionate and organized Activities Specialist to support individuals with disabilities. A Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is preferred, but a High School diploma with 1 year of related experience will also be considered. A valid driver’s license and the ability to assist in physical interventions is required.

Activities Specialist

Pay: $20.50/hr

Support Personal Care Needs: Assist individuals with dining, toileting, and transfers, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
Implement Engaging Programs: Develop and lead individual and group activities that promote skill development, independence, and community integration.
Collaborate on Behavior Plans: Work with the clinical team to create and implement behavior management strategies tailored to each individual.
Facilitate Transportation: Assist with transporting participants to various activities and appointments as needed.
Evaluate and Document Progress: Conduct satisfaction surveys, document participant progress, and ensure compliance with Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred. High School diploma with 1 year of related experience also accepted.
