Description

The Mortgage Loan Processor will process mortgage loan applications to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of processing those requests.

Responsibilities

• Requests, gathers, and verifies documentation from members based on an initial assessment of application.
• Evaluates and corrects information as necessary to ensure accuracy of documentation as an application is prepared for underwriting.
• Serves as point of contact between members, loan officer, realtors, and underwriters.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Position minimally requires at least one year of relevant work experience and a high school diploma or GED; preference will be given to candidates who have proven success working in a mortgage processing role. 
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. 
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills are required.
•  Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
• One to three years lending experience
• 10-key calculator and keyboard skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
• Strong attention to detail
• Efficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to handle pressure while paying excellent attention to detail, and must possess the ability to work effectively in a TEAM atmosphere.
