Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Optical / Systems Engineering Intern will support the development and improvement of optical metrology systems. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world engineering work, including prototype development, testing, and system troubleshooting, while working closely with experienced engineers across optical, mechanical, electrical, software, and applications disciplines.
This internship is ideal for students interested in learning how complex measurement systems are designed, built, and refined for use in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Interest in optics, photonics, or precision measurement systems.
Basic understanding of optical components, mechanical assemblies, or laboratory instrumentation (coursework or lab experience acceptable).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, hands-on engineering environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
