The shop technician is responsible for the fabrication and installation of elevator interiors. This includes working with construction equipment and power tools to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Shop Technician to assist with elevator interior fabrication and installation. The ideal candidate will possess general knowledge of construction equipment, power tools, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Previous shop experience, especially in woodworking, is a plus.

Job Description: Shop Technician Cab Interior Design (elevator interior fabrication and installation)

Location: Austin, TX, 78753

Skills:

  • General knowledge of construction equipment and power tools
  • Good communication skills
  • Willing to learn and be a TEAM PLAYER
  • Previous shop experience (preferably in woodworking)

Skillsets that would be beneficial:

  • Wood working experience
  • Metal Fabrication
  • Wood Finish/Paint Experience

Must be able to:

  • Work on feet for extended period (8+ Hours a day)
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to travel to jobsites on as needed basis and stay over night
