Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed Clinical Pharmacist in Florida with at least one year of experience. A Doctor of Pharmacy Degree with a completed PGY residency and hospital clinical experience are preferred. Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
Job Description
The Clinical Pharmacist prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; optimizes medications by monitoring drug therapies and advising interventions. This position is also responsible for providing education and professional development for pharmacy staff regarding pharmaceutical care and clinical guidelines.
Education / Training
Preferences:
Doctor of Pharmacy Degree with a completed PGY residency in pharmacy practice.
Experience Requirements
Preferences:
2 years of hospital clinical pharmacist experience
Certificates/Licenses/Registration
Additional Information:
BLS, provided by the American Heart Association (AHA), required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS, provided by the American Heart Association (AHA), required within 90 days of hire – not required for PRN employees.
