We are looking for a Patient Care Tech who is a high school graduate (or equivalent) with a CNA certification in Florida. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to perform EKGs, and have basic computer skills. Current American Heart Association BLS certification is also required.

Responsibilities

This opportunity is full-time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and a night shift schedule.  There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Job Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Completion of formal training program for Certified Nursing Assistants; possesses state CNA Certification
  • As of 8/1/2013, job requires a C.N.A. license in the state of Florida. Current employees as of 8/1/2013 in the Patient Care Tech role may be transferred into this updated Patient Care Tech job with current education and experience.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Possesses good communication skills in order to relate to customers
  • Must be able to perform EKG’s
  • Computer skills, order entry and ADT function
