We are looking for a Medical Assistant with a Medical Assistant (MA) Certificate from an accredited educational institution. A minimum of one year of experience in a clinic or family practice outpatient setting working with pediatric and adult patients is required. You should also be certified in CPR, AED, and BLS, and possess a valid Arizona Driver’s License.

Nature of Work:
Embraces and Embodies Tucson Indian Center’s (TIC) Identity Document’s Mission, Purpose and Vision Statements; The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for the intake of clients and preparing them to be seen by the Medical Practitioners. The MA performs office skills, obtains baseline physical data, assists in the efficient operation of the Medical Clinic, provides primary maintenance of the laboratory, and assists the medical staff as necessary. The Medical Assistant works under the primary supervision of the Nurse Supervisor and general supervision by the Family Practice Physician.
