POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a 2026 Summer Intern to support our Corporate Forecasting team! This is an onsite position located in Holland, MI. It is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.

The Forecasting Intern role supports the Corporate Forecast team by executing data-driven projects that enhance forecasting accuracy, automation, and operational efficiency. This role is tasked with assisting the development and maintenance of data pipelines, validating large datasets, and implementing automation solutions using modern data science tools. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and automation using tools like Dataiku DSS, SQL, and Python.

• Perform large-scale data validation and cleansing for the corporate forecast team and other business units.

• Support the integration of AI/ML models into corporate forecasting workflows.

• Collaborate with the corporate forecast team to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Identify and implement process improvements using automation and scripting.

• Assist in the training and onboarding of future data team members as the function grows.

• Develop and maintain business insight applications to visualize key metrics and support decision-making.

• Work with the corporate forecast team to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.

• Respond to ad hoc data requests and provide insights to support business decisions.

WHAT TO BRING

• Currently a student studying Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python or related experience for data manipulation and automation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong documentation and organizational skills to support scalable data solutions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

WHAT WILL HELP

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and experience integrating models into business processes.

• Familiarity with forecasting systems and methodologies as well as data modeling concepts.

• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

• Understanding of data governance, data quality standards, and best practices.

• Experience with automating repetitive business processes to improve team efficiency.
