Job Description

An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Intern assists in implementing, maintaining, and supporting business software systems. Key duties include cleansing and entering data, testing system updates (UAT), creating documentation, troubleshooting user issues, managing task lists and generating reports. This role bridges IT and business functions to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

System Support & Maintenance: Assisting our core team of subject matter experts with each phase of the project lifecycle—requirements definition, system build, test, and change management.

Data Management: Data cleaning, validation, and migration tasks to prepare for system transition.

Testing and Validation: Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system integration testing to ensure functionality.

Documentation: Creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and technical documentation.

Reporting and Analysis: Building and running functional reports (using SQL or Excel) for finance, supply chain, or manufacturing teams.

Project Coordination: Participating in implementation meetings, tracking project milestones, and providing general administrative support to the IT/ERP team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Finance, Business, Program Management or related fields.

Citizenship: US. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Technical Skills: Exposure to Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables); SQL, ERP software knowledge (company moving from SAPàInfor), or data management tools is a plus.

Analytical Abilities: Ability to map business processes and identify gaps.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
